Now, let’s hear more from Carla herself about her professional journey and what brought her to Draivi.
Can you walk us through your professional journey?
My professional journey began in 2010 in the exciting area of marketing, an experience that quickly led me to discover and develop a passion for digital marketing. In my early years, I focused on the E-commerce and Marketplace sector, with a strategic emphasis on Performance, optimizing campaigns and generating measurable results.
Since 2014, I have had the privilege of diving into the Fintech sector, a dynamic, challenging, and highly innovative environment. This experience not only allowed me to further develop in digital marketing but also opened doors to offline marketing and, in particular, the creation of Growth strategies aimed at taking companies to the next level.
This journey has allowed me to combine my experience across various areas and gain a deep understanding of how to grow a brand in highly competitive environments.
Apart from your marketing roles in finance, have you had any other roles that have influenced you?
I’ve been fortunate to work in marketing from the very start of my career. Two key experiences, in particular, have shaped my professional growth. First, I had the opportunity to work with a leading E-commerce platform serving the Mexican and U.S. markets, as well as one of the most recognized Marketplaces in Latin America. These experiences allowed me to refine my skills and expand my knowledge significantly.
Second, I focused on continuous learning to differentiate myself. I didn’t limit myself to digital marketing; I also developed in offline marketing and, above all, specialized in Growth. This specialization gave me expertise in areas like automation, product, acquisition, retention and A/B testing, helping me build a well-rounded and robust career.
What drew you to Draivi as a company?
What attracted me to Draivi were several key factors. First and foremost, I was impressed by the deep expertise they have as performance marketers, their drive and success in opening new markets. Seeing the remarkable work they’ve already accomplished across six countries highlighted their immense potential and the exciting synergies we could create to drive further growth and expansion.
