A part of the Draivi team headed to Stockholm, attending Stockholm Fintech Week and taking the opportunity to connect with key partners, exchange ideas and be part of the conversations shaping the future of fintech.
Stockholm Fintech Week
Draivi attended Stockholm Fintech Week as a sponsor this year. The program was packed with interesting speakers and conversations with people across the fintech ecosystem.

One of the highlights was having our CEO Ville Kymäläinen on stage for a panel discussion, on the topic “The End of Easy Credit? Sweden’s Most Controversial Lending Shift.” The topic is one of the most discussed in Nordic fintech and consumer credit market right now. Sweden is tightening lending rules, raising barriers for consumer lenders and reshaping access to credit and the debate around it is far from settled. Is this long-overdue consumer protection or the end of flexible financing?
“The room for maneuver for new and aspiring companies is getting tighter in Sweden? Will it be worth the while to setup a company in Sweden or relocate immediately to Berlin or Barcelone immediately?” was something that was debated on the scene with Jimmy Hanna from Fairlo & Claudia Gomez from Lendo.

Google Think Consumer Stockholm
We were also invited to attend Google Think Consumer Stockholm, an exclusive event for marketing decision makers. The programme focused on something that feels increasingly relevant: there has rarely been a more complex time to be a marketer. Interpreting trends, understanding shifting consumer mindsets and navigating an ever-changing sales funnel all at once is no small task.

Strengthening Partnerships on the Ground
Beyond the main stage, we made the most of being in the same city as many of our key partners, meeting up, running workshops and having the kind of real conversations that only happen in person.
