We began by developing our proprietary marketing data platform in our home market, Finland. After successfully expanding across the Nordics, we scaled into Germany and Spain—two of Europe’s most competitive fintech markets. With each new expansion, we refined our playbook: combining cutting-edge technology with deep market insights to connect consumers with financial services efficiently.
With this proven model, we took the next step—entering emerging markets.
South Africa validated that our approach works beyond Europe, paving the way for further global expansion. Now, we’re scaling in Mexico and Vietnam, two high-growth markets where we see immense potential.
Why Mexico and Vietnam?
Each market we enter aligns strategically with our strengths.
- Mexico: Building on our success in Spain, this expansion was a natural next step. Many of our existing partners already have a presence in Mexico, creating strong synergies that allow us to scale efficiently.
- Vietnam: With a rapidly growing middle class and an overwhelming number of financial products, Vietnamese consumers need better ways to navigate their options. The market lacks transparent, third-party solutions that bridge the gap between lenders and borrowers—exactly what Draivi specializes in. We are currently developing our Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for Vietnam, set to launch in early 2025.

While bootstrapping has given us control and efficiency, it also meant being cautious with hiring in the early days. Looking back, taking that leap sooner could have accelerated our growth even further.
Yet, through every challenge, we’ve remained confident in Draivi’s success. There was never a moment of doubt about whether we would make it—only an evolving definition of what success looks like.
In the beginning, there was no grand plan. We simply saw an opportunity to improve the financial services industry for consumers. As we gained traction, we recognized a bigger picture: the challenges we solved in the Nordics were the same ones faced in larger, more competitive markets. That realization set the stage for Draivi’s global expansion.
